Facade Stories: 3D Mapping for USC, Utrecht
Last month I worked as Craftopia’s lead animator on a unique 3D projection mapping project for U.S.C. in Utrecht. Commissioned by Veejays.com, I led an excellent team to project the building’s history onto its façade, from its construction to liberation and party moments.
For this job I directed the animation and 3D team. We used Adobe, Cinema4D, Unreal Engine, and AI – for example, to create a singing character and animate old photos. The script was co-written with Veejays.com and builds on a project we did ten years ago.
