Arriving from the Future – A Custom Character in Motion
For graphic design studio Identimo in Amsterdam, I was asked to visualize a bold and playful concept: the owner arriving at work in a spaceship as her future self.
I took this opportunity to explore how consistent character design could be achieved using AI tools. Starting with a photo from her website, I used ComfyUI to generate a variety of character images. These were then used to train a custom LoRA model, fine-tuning the AI to replicate her likeness across multiple scenes.
The visuals were brought to life using an AI video generator (non–open source), and then assembled into a final short film using Adobe tools.
This project blended creativity with cutting-edge tools, and showed how far you can go with a single portrait and a good idea.
